Lexie’s Wisdom

“Never forget who you are in Christ. You may fall or feel like you are losing strength. But take heart, because we have a God who is tougher than anything and will never leave you. I learned over the past month to look at myself how God sees me, not the world. Sure, I’m a 15 year old girl, but that doesn’t mean I can’t … set the world on fire for God. He has a purpose and plan for each and everyone’s life. No one is a mistake, ever. There’s never accidental babies. God knew you were coming and he has a plan for you. He made you just the way you are for a reason. (He) loves you all. Never forget that.” (Lexie Drew, March 11, 2015; Facebook post)

Lexie was 15 at the time:

“Sometimes you wish certain people had never been in your life so it doesn’t hurt when they leave. But the thing is, God put them there for a reason. Yeah it may hurt when they leave, but maybe it’s only for a season that they are gone. I learned this the hard way because I moved away from people who were close to me and now people who are, again, close to me are moving. I know, first hand, how it feels to lose someone you care about. I can say this though, it does get better. You may miss them, but eventually you’ll realize that you will see them again someday. Maybe not as soon as you would like, but you will see them again. You just have to keep going on through this wonderful life God has given us.”

If you’re going to reflect who He is, you have to be full of Him.

“Truth without grace is meaningless. Grace without truth is meaningless. Grace and truth is medicine.”

Grace and mercy follow me wherever I go.

Live for a cause.

David didn’t ignore the problem; he just saw that God was much bigger.

It’s one thing to own something, it’s another thing to turn it on.

“I’m holding you, princess.” God.

I don’t deserve it (Lord), but you love me anyway.

Remember to smile and choose happiness.
